Dementia Care

At Hesketh Park Lodge, we offer compassionate, specialist care for residents living with early-stage and advanced dementia, in an environment that is safe, supportive and deeply respectful of each person’s identity and journey. Our purpose-designed dementia care home creates a calm, structured setting where residents can feel secure and understood, surrounded by staff who are trained in recognising and responding to the unique challenges of memory loss and cognitive change.

We believe that life doesn’t stop with a dementia diagnosis. That’s why we focus on what each resident can do, not what they can’t. Our experienced team takes time to learn each person’s life story, their interests, passions, past careers and family connections, providing truly person-centred care.

Daily, dementia-friendly activities such as music and art therapy, reminiscence sessions, gentle movement and sensory engagement are carefully tailored to support confidence and communication.
